Description

Monovisc 4ml is a single injection viscosupplement suited for treating joint pain caused by osteoarthritis. In cases of osteoarthritis, the amount of natural hyaluronan is reduced, and the quality may be poorer than normal, which causes irritation and inflammation, pain and stiffness in the joints. Monovisc is a gel substance consisting of the maximum HA dose (88mg). The product adds HA to the joint when injected, where it acts as a lubricant and pain reliever.

Monovisc is given in a shot (injection) directly into the knee joint.
