Revanesse^® Shape is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to shape and volumize deep tissue, supra-periosteum augmentation, to provide projection and lift. This filler is ideal for treating deep folds, lines and wrinkles, cheeks, nose bridge, chin, jawline, and glabellar lines. The result with Revanesse^® Shape is a more contoured and refined look perfect for enhancing the patient’s natural facial features.

HA is an essential component of the skin and connective tissues, as it holds in moisture and keeps the skin hydrated. Over time, though, the natural concentration of HA, collagen, and elastin in the body lessens, causing the skin to be thin and lose its support structure.

The skin is comprised of three primary layers.
-The top layer is the epidermis and contains skin cells.
-The middle layer is the dermis and contains both collagen and elastin.
-Collagen provides support to the skin while elastin provides strength and flexibility. The bottom layer is the subcutaneous and contains fat tissue. The subcutaneous supports the two layers above.
