Synvisc is an osteoarthritis pain relief treatment intended for the treatment of especially the knee, but also hips, ankles and shoulders. The products are indicated for the treatment of pain caused by osteoarthritis. Synvisc (hylan G-F 20) is a high molecular weight fluid similar to the fluid that surrounds the joints in our bodies. When injected, the fluid acts as a lubricant and shock absorber for the joints.
